DC Santa Monica Fence Builder provides residential and commercial fence installation, repair, replacement, and related services in Santa Monica, CA and the surrounding communities. The specific scope of services for any individual project will be defined in a written estimate or service agreement provided prior to work commencing.
Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes. It does not constitute a binding quote or commitment to perform services at any particular price or timeline until confirmed in a written estimate.
Estimates provided by DC Santa Monica Fence Builder are free of charge and reflect the scope of work as understood at the time of the site visit. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
Final pricing may vary from the estimate if site conditions differ from what was observed during the estimate visit, if the customer requests changes to the scope of work, or if unforeseen conditions such as buried utilities, rock, or existing structural issues are encountered during installation. We will notify you of any material changes before proceeding.
All prices are quoted in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes or permit fees unless expressly stated in the written estimate.
Project start dates are scheduled based on mutual availability and are subject to change due to weather, permit processing times, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible of any scheduling changes.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or permits have been submitted may result in costs passed on to the customer for non-recoverable expenses already incurred on your behalf.
Payment terms will be specified in the written estimate or service agreement for each project. In general, we may require a deposit prior to ordering materials, with the remaining balance due upon project completion or as otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment by check, bank transfer, or other methods as agreed at the time of booking. All invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Accounts not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee and referral to a collections process.
Where required by the City of Santa Monica or applicable local codes, we will obtain the necessary building permits as part of the project. Permit fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be itemized in the estimate. It is the customer's responsibility to disclose any HOA requirements, deed restrictions, or easements that may affect the fence placement before work begins. We are not responsible for work that must be modified or removed due to undisclosed HOA or legal restrictions the customer failed to communicate.
We warrant our labor and workmanship against defects for a period of one year from the date of project completion. If a defect in our workmanship is identified within this period, we will return to correct it at no additional charge.
Manufacturer warranties on materials (posts, panels, hardware) are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the manufacturer's terms. Damage caused by misuse, modification by others, acts of nature, vehicle impact, or normal wear and tear is not covered by our workmanship warranty.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DC Santa Monica Fence Builder's total liability to you for any claim arising from our services or this website shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project that gave rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or property damage unrelated to the work performed, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation does not apply to damages arising from our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

You may not use it to transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or misleading, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to this website for any user who violates these Terms.
